Have any of you guys heard or have any idea who you guys are going to bring back for next year? Aren't Voshon, Calbert, and Georgie McCloud all free agents now? Don't ask me why I care...I'm just curious.
To the best of my knowledge, the team will bring one or two of them back, but odds are it will be a one year contract. Ryan Bowen is the only free agent we have that HAS to be back, and he's restricted.
While were on the subject of the Nuggets, what is the current standing of James Posey? While I think at one time they viewed him as a potential star, I'd imagine his poor shooting and low scoring average might tend to tarnish his image a bit, much as with Robert Horry here in Houston. Are they still commited to him?
right now kiki is saying all the 'right' things so we dont know what he really wants. for every question he answers so positively it sounds like he loves all the players and wants to give them the max but really our main free agents are voshon lenard, calbert cheaney, & scott williams. i only want cheaney back unless the other two sign CHEAP. cheaney has played great the last 2 months. as n4 said, we also have bowen cuz he has a player option and will opt out to resign for more cuz hes earned it!
posey has one year left on his contract. we are still very committed. hes tore it up the last few weeks. his J is just crap though. everything else is pretty darn good. if he could shoot 40-42%, he would get in line for a HUGE payday.
