Just a quick shout out in all these Barry, Horry, Davis, Pietrus, Azubuike, free agent threads.

    We still need a PG....

Baron opted out, and Udrih is still out there, and Charlotte may move one now.....

Come on Morey......please at least look into it before the trade deadline.....

Rafer would be great...as a backup....

    Just sayin......

It seems Morey will make a big move by the trade deadline, but not now!

Maybe, by then some teams will decide to rebuild and trade their players for expiring contracts.

Im comfortable with Rafer running this team as long as he isnt the third scoring option.

Look at the two PGs in the finals, Rondo and Fisher.

Rafer, imho, can be effective with some other added pieces.

We're going to have to trade for one. There are not any starting caliber PG's that will sign for $2-3MM.

Morey has said multiple times that we will try to be active when it comes to trades, and not so much with free agency

Is July 9th the date when trades start happening? Isn't that the date the BYC is removed for some players?

Bobby Jackson for Earl Watson and New Jersey's/their own 2009 2nd rounder?

I'm not too sold on Watson, because his stats were inflated by P.J's run n' gun. And the fact that he was on Seattle..

Rafer would be a very talented backup indeed, he would also be a very very expensive backup who would never except the role.

If we can trade him for a Felton or equavalent fine do it but we don't have the money to pursue the starter quality PG free agents and and would have to get rid of Rafer even if we did.

If we get Barry we don't need Watson. Rafer/Barry/Brooks is enough PG's. We should trade for a good shooting backup SG.

C'mon, man. Don't talk just to talk. Barry's days as a PG are long over.

He is almost a perfect backup SG considering our current cap space.

We can't pay enough for Baron but if you think about what the Warriors need, they need bigs. Lots of Bigs. They got too many pt guards and sg's. They play more smallball than any other team. Bigs? We got a bunch of em now. Looks like Morey loaded up. Woods, Dorsey, Hayes, Landry, Scola, Yao, Deke, Harris

Any assets that the Warriors have that would make sense in a trade?

    LOL, classic!

Seriously though, I'm hoping he can contribute in some way. Anything to make our PG situation better.

Hoping for a miracle to get Baron!
