A friend of mine is the girl in this story below, they came home 2 days ago to find their apartment in flames and lost absolutely everything, including their 2 dogs and other pets. My friend had just gone through a divorce and moved in with her sister and her husband. Between her and her sister, they have 4 kids.

The crappy thing is that their landlord tried to give them $500 and get them to sign some paper. I didn't see it, but it sounded super suspicious. Luckily they didn't sign it or whatever, but the point is that they don't seem to be getting the best treatment from that standpoint. The Red Cross has them in a hotel until tomorrow, then I don't know what.

I've been trying to share their GoFundMe around, and I thought some of my ClutchFans bros might be able to help.

    Thanks everyone!

    Dogs? That's traumatizing for kids.

Oh man, the dogs died? That's awful.

Do they not have renters insurance?

I don't think they do. They were like, in pretty dire straights even before this happened.

Donated- good luck to your friends.

If you can list ages of the kids and specifics for adults (sizes, needs, etc), I might be able to donate some stuff to them.
