Man I don't know about you guys but I am so relieved Carl Landry had a good outing tonight. He looked like his usual self. I understand he has been hurt but the way he played today just shows how much we need him for the playoffs. Hopefully he will continue to play good consistently.

It's not just his ability to go up for the ball (or with the ball) is that he seems to know where to be near the basket. He is almost never out of position when the ball goes up.

He didn't get any dunks, though. So he's not quite back. But it was a nice game.

vs. any other team those woulda been dunks. Shaq and Amare were grabbing his arms as he went up, they know he's a dunker.

I thought he had an alley-oop from Brooks?

Agree with this thread. Was a joy to see.

Yeah, but the old Landry wouldn't have missed that reverse dunk in the 2nd half.

And he would have done a back flip on the alley-oop.

yeah man, he should have made the reverse jam from a no look pass from chuck hayes, that is a play of the year contender.

Our team is completely different when he's healthy and dunking.

He looked pretty good the last game, too. And it's encouraging to see that he doesn't solely rely on athleticism to be effective (which I could sort of tell anyways)... but it sure is nice seeing those facials.

LOL thats not what amazes me! We stole this guy, a 2nd rounder! I hope he kind of transforms like Arenas did for the wizards, a 2nd rounder as well i may add :)

Landry was just great against Phoenix. In previous games he had used his jumper a lot but against Suns I felt like he got his explosivness back. He had some great finishes around the basket.
