as far as i've heard, it's speculation purely on the fact that it *could* happen. Not that it's likely or that they've even discussed it..

Jim Gray reported on ESPN during the game tonight that he talked to Iverson via cellphone and that Iverson said he wanted to be traded to Minny. A few hours later, he revealed on air that he had been duped by an imposter and retracted the story.
KG even mentioned AI after the game tonight. He wants McHale to get it done. Were all these rumors started by a dupe?
Well the story didn't get retracted till after that interview, I don't think, but if KG wants McHale to get it done, I hope Garnett likes cheesesteaks... or else the sixers somehow smoke enough crack to think Mike James and Ricky Davis and #1 is the best offer.
Moving James to SG has helped my fantasy team. If AI lands in Minny, I guess Foye would be shipped in the package.
Billy King cannot be dumb enough to take on whatever Minny throws at him. Just trade Iverson to the Celtics for their young kids (Green and Jefferson) and throw in expiring contract or two and a draft pick. Getting any combination of Mike James, Ricky Davis, Randy Foye, etc doesn't help their team in their rebuilding efforts one bit.
