There's a young boy who goes to my church who suffers from an extremely rare enzyme-deficiency...so rare there are roughly 200 people IN THE WORLD with this condition. So rare that there are really no available medications that currently exist that could help him out...he's waiting for a cure. He desperately needs platelets and blood donations to hold out....any help any of you can give would be fantastic. My understanding is that the donation would have to be at Texas Childrens' Hospital... if you'll email me, I'll be happy to provide more information!!! thank you guys so much....
I was wrong...someone just emailed me and told me you don't have to go to Texas Childrens...there are multiple locations around town you can go to give!! Hope that makes it easier for some of you.
