    Does anybody here uses Endnote? I have been using it since recently. It has worked for some time, but today something suddenly changed.

    The problem is that when i ad a citation in the text it doesn't work. So instead of the normal citation: (Christova et al. 2003) it shows a code:
    {ADDIN EN.CITE <EndNote><Cite><Author>Christova</Author><Year>2003</Year><RecNum>6</RecNum><record><rec-number>6</rec-number><ref-type name="Journal Article">17</ref-type><contributors><authors><author>Christova, I. I.</author><author>van de Pol, J. </author><author>Yazar, S. </author><author>Velo, E. </author><author>Schouls, L. </author></authors></contributors><titles><title>Identification of Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato, Anaplasma and Ehrlichia species, and spotted fever group Rickettsiae in ticks from southeastern Europe</title><secondary-title>European journal of clinical microbiology &amp; infectious diseases</secondary-title></titles><periodical><full-title>European journal of clinical microbiology &amp; infectious diseases</full-title></periodical><pages>535-542</pages><volume>22</volume><number>9</number><dates><year>2003</year></dates><urls><related-urls><url>http://sfx.library.wur.nl:9003/sfx_...1=I;aulast=Christova;_service_type=getFullTxt </url></related-urls><pdf-urls><url>internal-pdf://Christova et al (2003) Identif-2707937536/Christova et al (2003) Identification of Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato, Anaplasmaand EhrlichiaSpecies, and Spotted Fever group Rickettsiae in Ticks from Southeastern Europe.pdf</url></pdf-urls></urls></record></Cite></EndNote>}

    but if i copy this code to anything besides word it copies the normal citation.
    I really have no idea what is wrong. And i hope it is clear.
    Can anybody help me?

    Edit: even if i copy it here it shows something different, the entire code is writen, so it is longer then you can see in the post. :( i really cannot explain it better, lets just hope someone else have had the same problem, i think it is a configuration in words.

    I deal with Endnote all of the time. Scientists love it, but it's buggy as hell. Here's what I think will help: Link
    Their FAQ page has helped me troubleshoot pretty much every problem I've run in to. That and uninstalling/reinstalling.

    You Xerobull are my hero, thanks it worked. Since i have to deal with literature a lot i want to learn how it works. But i have a deadline for a research proposal on monday, so this bug did not come at a good time.

    I figured it would be something with words.

    Thanks again :D :D :D :D
