[Help]The USB port on My DirecTv box

    Someone smarter than me, I am trying to figure out if I can pull the digital information off my DTV box onto a computer.

    I found the USB on the front and connected it to my laptop, but for some reason my computer doesn't recognize it as a source.

    Thoughts?

    Those ports are used to update the box, not to download stuff from it.
