With T-Mac the leading forward in the western conference, he probably will start the All Star Game. Garnett and Duncan are neck and neck below T-Mac so a vote for either of them could have them catch up to T-Mac.

So vote for T-Mac and Elton Brand or anyone but Duncan and Garnett.

BTW? How did David Wesley get more votes (aside from being a guard in the weaker 'guard' west) than Jason Richardson, Jason Terry, Mike Bibby and than the forwards Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Shawn Marion and almost as much as Elton Brand?!?!

I support my team and all, but he's had an off year except for the last few games.

This is easy to understand. When Chinese fans vote for Yao ming and T-Mac, they will also need to fill out the rest of the ballot, which you know, includes Wesley. :)

OMG! Could we possibly get a trio of Yao/TMac/DW in the starting lineup? That would be dope!

Seriously though, IMO it's as simple as those same fans who're voting for Yao and McGrady are going along with the "Rockets theme" and voting in other players on the team who are on the ballot. So that's my little theory there.

If anything, the DW votes are a testament to the Rockets' popularity as a team around the league and probably also around the world.

David Wesley is currently 7th among all the guards in the West.

I think wes is taking away T-Mac's vote. D-Wes and T-Mac ... you know, they are kind of similar.

DO NOT VOTE FOR TMAC !!!

He needs the rest...screw the All star game.

And vote for Dampier instead of Yao too.

i'm pretty sure t-mac and garnett have this thing wrapped up. all three of those guys are deserving starters but duncan doesn't have the fan support of the other two.

Duncan's commercials are not nearly as cool as the other two's.

I dont think you need fan support to be the second guy in an allstar game. Dont they base it on what the league wants? If so, I bet Tmac will start from ballot votes and Duncan will come off the bench from the league people's votes.

the fans pick all five of the starters and the coaches fill out the bench. the fans will probably vote t-mac and garnett to start and the coaches will obviously pick duncan to be on the team coming off the bench. so the answer is, yes you need fan support to be a starter but not necessarily to be on the team.

I dunno, that American Express commercial he did with his poker face look to the car dealer and brought down the price was HILARIOUS. Then towards the end, u can see Kevin Willis and Bruce Bowen in the background celebrating.
