Hi all, before i start i want to acknowledge that this may be in fact the wrong forum to be posting this but i feel that this is the most visited forum on the site and therefore may get more help in to what i am about to ask.......anyway here goes: I currently live in Melbourne Australia, but am planning a trip to the US in November some time........it is my 1st trip to the US and would like some help with the following things: I would like to know which states have cheap accommodation (as current US to Australian $$ conversion is bad for me ). I would like to attend an NBA game, perhaps several (depending on prices) and would like to know if anyone here would be able to help me out getting some tickets as soon as they become available....maybe even attend the same game . I want to make this a great experience and any help would be greatly appreciated, from one true rockets fan to another.... thanks in advance
well, im not sure a trip to ny would be the best idea. ticket prices here are through the roof. maybe new orleans? they would have cheap tix, and they have martigras!
I read why you posted this in this forum, but I think you may have better luck in the BBS. More people in there know about stuff besides the rockets. That's all we know about.
All States have some cheap accomodations, but I doubt you would want to stay in all of them. What type of activities are you looking for? Is there anything you don't want to miss?
Well now, since you're now in the right forum... I think it's obvious, come to Houston..the hotel rooms aren't too expensive, and you get to see the Rockets play at home. If ya wait till next year to come..you can check out the new arena.. And I believe that you can buy the tickets online and pick them up at will call.. All things taken care of, no problem. Just post here and let us know when ur comin and what games you are goin to..and I'm sure you might be able to meet up with some of the guys from here... Post away and get to know ppl here, and you'll probably find plenty of fans to talk to..
