    hey all,

I am in desperate need of information. Guru's (of GangStarr) side project called Jazzmatazz has a song on:

Jazzmatazz, Vol. II - the new reality

and on this record on track 7 "for you" there is a string arrangment in the background which I was looking for already some years ago. Now today listening to this record again it came to my mind that I still have no clue from who this string arrangment has been sampled. Damn I almost tripping about it now again.

I now that it must be a sample since also around the midnineties the same string arrangement was used by a french rapper. But I forgot the name.

If anyone, women or men, boy or girl can help me out getting the name of this song being sampled I would:

a.) light up a candle in church
b.) donate USD 10.00 to the Aleister Crowley Children Foundation
c.) offer my blind neighbor a one year subscription of perfect ten magazine
    or
d.) get lifelong appreciation from my side

thanks for any help, input & hope.

I have Vol. I only, but I am pretty sure all of the music on both was original. That was supposed to be the point. The jazz elements were supposed to be almost live.

That's correct. But I am 100% sure that there is a sample included.

Volume 2 is the only Jazzmatazz album I dont have. I've got volume 1 and 3 both good albums. How is volume 2?
