Can I ask how old y'all are? To me, that show seems like an exact redo of 90210, and I already saw that show 15 years ago.

Not being mean, either. It just seems to be a show that 15-25 yr olds would be more interested in.

I've seen it once, and really, its a remake of BH90210...However, the chicks are much hotter...I've also seen One Tree Hill, where the chicks are even hotter there...Well, to say the least, i have a lot of time on my hands and end up flipping the channels now and again...Other than the eye candy, I don't get it...

Eh. Not that hot. Not enough to warrant dedicating time to watch them on TV. Maybe if they get naked and make out I might TiVo it.

It's much wittier than 90210. The characters are much deeper and the adults ACTUALLY have real story lines that rival, if not trump, that of the children.

I was a HUGE 90210 fan and this is much more in-depth than that show. Those of you who says its nothing more than 90210 have obviously not watched this show.

Oh, and I turn 27 in six days.

Age has nothing to do with it. If you like wit in your TV, you'll like this show.

Personally, I tried to watch it (like 6 episodes in the first season), but the guys got on my nerves. One was a wuss and the other was too uptight. Finally I yelled "Grow up!" and changed the channel.

Of course I'm 37, so I'm way out of the demographic.

    I like:
    Scrubs
    24
    Lost
    Joey
    Seinfeld and Friends reruns
And just about anything on the SciFi channel.

LMAO, I hope no one was around you at the time.

The thing I hate about that show is it is like all soap operas, whether they are in the afternoon or on primetime, everybody on the show is "good-looking". There are average looking people in the world but you would never guess that by those shows.

And like coma said, the people on that show aren't really all that; although they are attractive or else they can't be on the show, right?

Out of the pics that nWo posted, only the 2nd chick is one that I think is hot. She and that Barton chick (the only person I know that is on that show along with the thick eyebrow dude).

I dunno if you need to be a certain gender/age group to enjoy a given show.

I personally love the show, and I find it pretty interesting. I guess I can see the similarities with 90210, which I loved too, but this show is much deeper in terms of story lines. As drapg said, it is refreshing to see the adult characters actually have intriguing lives of their own, and not just act as sidekicks to the antics of their kids.

Besides, it's fun to see all the money!

    to answer the original question....

    BS Player
    VLC Player
    Winamp
are all much better than Windows MEdia PLayer

hell...ripping the video down to it's component frames and looking at them in Paint is better than using WMP.

I agree. Most people who compare The O.C. to 90210 have never seen a single episode. Believe me, I never took this show seriously when it first premiered thanks to those godawful ads they were running during the World Series. But it's a really well-written and acted series, and Seth Cohen was one of last season's best TV characters.
