My cousin and his company (Lucid Films - http://lucidfilmproductions.com/) made a short movie for a class called The Ugly Little Table. A local PBS station in Boston is running a contest and the movie which gets the most votes will get aired on TV. Please vote here before 4 PM http://www.thirteen.org/reel13/films/vote-for-saturdays-short
@ the time of my post: The Ugly Little Table 49% (650 votes) The Greatest Gift 51% (664 votes) Go fUGLY!
Yeah..go the fugly table. I don't even care about the movie really (hope my cousin doesnt read this). I just want the underdog to win..its like a race
I voted for The Greatest Gift. I honestly thought it was better. That blonde flagrantly fouled Scola near the end though.
Just voted again with 5 different browsers on my PC (Netscape, Safari, Chrome, IE, FireFox). If your cousin wins, he better shell out the cash to the TIPJAR, sir. I think it's fair, isn't it, everyone? I also noticed the bad misuse of extras in "The Greatest Gift." The girl in the spaghetti strap purple dress gets OVERused. 681 - 675 ugly You suck, Uprising.
Ha. Reminds me of the Cheers episode where Woody and the Rich guy are going to fight for Kelly's honor... the crowd follows both men to the back pool room chanting: "WOO-DY! WOO-DY! WOO-DY!" A sound of a loud punch. Crowd gets quiet. Crowd chants again: "RICH GUY! RICH GUY! RICH GUY! RICH GUY!"
Uh oh, looks like Greatest Gift is getting some support from somewhere... The Ugly Little Table 50% (718 votes) The Greatest Gift 50% (729 votes)
