How can i find an episode of a tv show i missed recently....boston legal not the 28ths but the 21st.....any suggestions?
Get "ABC" (Yet another bit torrent client) , go to www.suprnova.org , search for said file, and download.
Not much to explain. You're already downloading a BT client. So after you do that, you go to "torrent" sites, that list down links to tracking files for shows. Download the tracking file and open it up with your BT client and your client will do the rest. Just make sure to leave your torrent open after you've downloaded the file, until your upload/download ration is 1:1. It's common BT etiquette and is what allows it work as a system. Also keep in mind that you'll need the appropriate codecs in order to view your file. If the file says xvid in it, then you need to go here xvid or for divx, here The "torrent" sites that you should search are: www.suprnova.org and www.tvtorrents.net I'd give you a direct url for you to plug into your BT client, but these sites are actually down right now. They're two of the biggest sites and don't require signups, but they've both been a bit unstable recently.
I found the torrent. Just copy this link: http://m1.btefnet.net/torrents/boston.legal.107.hdtv.xvid-lol.%5BBT%5D.torrent and then in Azureus got to File, Open, Url and paste the above link. Azureus should handle the rest. Also to view this particular file, you'll need the xvid codec. There you go. Simple as that.
It doesn't matter w/ me where I see it. You must have a crappy video card because I can see it just fine on my PC.
I don't know how it would look on my computer since I've never used bit torrent. I was just speculating on why someone might prefer and pay for TIVO. I can tell you it will look and sound much better on my 47" HDTV with my home theather sound system turned on than on my 20" monitor. AND I'll be much more comfortable sitting on my couch instead of in my computer chair. To each his own I guess.
yes. Divx is a free codec. http://www.divx.com/divx/ Click on the Free download link. It's the last one.
Here's a direct link to the codec: http://www.koepi.org/XviD-1.0.2-29082004.exe And here's the original site if they have some kind of anti-leeching protection on. http://www.koepi.org/xvid.shtml Just click on the "Latest stable binary" one.
When I download each TV show to watch, they are all in High Def or Plasma. If I can convert the .avi's into VCDs, then I can watch them on TV. But I'm not going to go through the hassle. I also watch them on the couch in my study. It comes in perfect quality and I never miss a show.
