Sometime in the next couple of months my wife and I will adopt 2 kittens from Citizens for Animal Protection (a great group...support them if you can). We will name one of them Stitch (we love that movie ). We need a name for the other, but haven't been able to think of anything. We'll probably be able to name it when we get the kitten...but it's always good to have a few names in mind. So if you have a suggestion I'd love to hear it. Mrs. Ref and I appreciate your help. Serious suggestions only please.
That takes the fun out of it. Some pet names my family has used are Smoky,(blackish-dog)Gizmo, and Sable.(female dog, was named by my sis's boyfriend, a wrestling freak.) Uhh... I'm trying to think of the others, but my mind has gone blank. I'll edit when I remember them. Edit: Already remember one. Kippy, for a little energetic dog. Man all I can remember are dog names except for Gizmo.
My wife had actually thought of Lilo. I decided that she annoyed me and would not be a suitable name for our beloved pet. Felix may work...it's on the "For Mrs. Ref to Consider List." Awesome name...I loved that movie. It is on the "For Mrs. Ref to Consider List."
That's what my aunt calls one of her cats. It was an orange and white cat with a lot of extra hair. She also had a Siamese(SP?) cat, but I can't remember its name.
Well I can tell who my friends on this BBS are. Giving me decent pet names at 4am...you're a pal RC. Seriously...mighty neighborly of ya.
No prob. Besides, since I get up at 5 PM, 4 AM feels more like 10 pm. Man, I forgot my other aunt also has a cat. I need to remember these names. I'll try and ask my parents if they remember, so I may have more today.
Ref, read the sticky post at the top of the forum...there's only like 5 of us on here right now...give em some time... I'm gonna give ya an obvious one (considering where we are at) "Clutch" "Boki" "Cat" and a few others... "Skippy" "Max"...(or MadMax if ya want) "Mr Bigglesworth"....sorry..had to do it
Oh I know. It's late...or early...or well depends on your perspective. I'm just letting RC know I appreciate his help. I'd love to give the kitten a Rockets based name...but Mrs. Ref has already vetoed that idea. A friend of mine posts here using the name MadMax...I don't think he'd find it funny. LOL When Mr. Biggelsworth gets upset...people DIE!!!! LOL
Clutch. My cats are Frasier and NIles. I have another kitten, but I don't know what to name him so I've been calling him Tyrone, Coltrane, Cedric, or Mr. Jinx for 7 months.
Our cats' names: Lisa, Brandy, Tommy, Avery, Tucker, Binky, Arthur, Torvald, Sara, Tessa, Dexter, Wilbur, Orville, Charlotte, Emily, Violet and Danny. I never name an animal until I've been around it for a couple of days. Once I've gotten a feel for the cat's personality, the name just seems to automatically pop into my head. Speaking of our cats, if you haven't yet chosen your kittens from CAPS, please consider adopting from the Jeff and Mrs. JB feline sanctuary. A stray female has given birth to kittens under our gazebo. The little ones are about four weeks old and absolutely adorable. There's a completely black one, a black/brown brindle and a white one with black markings including a little black "bandit" mask. We'll have to find homes for them in the next 2-4 weeks, so they may end up at CAPS anyway.
Mrs. JB-- Those kittens are a tad young to be adopted. The earliest vets suggest adoption is 8 weeks...with a preference for 12 weeks. Email me and we can set something up for my wife and I to see the kittens. We have not adopted yet, and we want to make sure we have cats that take a liking to us quickly. Alomost had it today. We found one cat that took a shine to us...but we really want to get 2 at the same time.
I don't know if CAP is a no-kill shelter or not, but if it isn't, I'd STRONGLY suggest going to a no-kill shelter like http://www.specialpals.org It's a wonderful place that is hurting for support. They are on Greenhouse road, in between Fry and Barker Cypress. I used to volunteer there, and we just set up a memorial fund there for Fluffy.
