Okay , i have heard it once. It came on houston's mix 96.5. its modern pop/mix song. the beat is a little faster than normal.. i would call it steady. its 1 guy singing, and his band is playing the normal drums, guitar, bass, etc. some of the words i can remember (assuming these are right) are: this effort is really gonna suck because its really hard to understand him.. he's singing really soft... like coldplay.... but not using high notes.. using regular notes. da da dada... da da da da.. dada dada ... even if i cannot speak... i will be waiting here... ..(something)... without you here... that's all i can think of now.. oh yea.. it was used as background music the other night for a show.. might have been monday night's csi miami.. toward the end.. or.. it was ncis.. one of those. any help would be appreciated thanx
Your lyrics (lack there of) really doesn't help. The name of the CSI: Miami episode was Prey and it was episode 403, so that may help in your searching. I'll do a bit more scavenging later if I can find the time.

It kinda sounds like a song that was on the Buzz for awhile. I think Snow Patrol is the name of the band I'm thinking of. Can't remember the name of the song.

Definitely "Run" by Snow Patrol. I liked that song a lot more last year when no one else knew about it.
