    Guys,

Man I work in North Houston now (Ella and Beltway, right by 45N) and I need to find a mom and pop hamburger place. All we have around here is Fuddruckers and I am sick of it.

I love supporting mom and pop places like Cues, Bubba's, and Lankford Grocery but I don't know of any paces like that up here. Anyone have any suggestions.

I miss Charlie's hamburgers. Anyone know if any locations are still around? The one that I used to go to on the Gulf Freeway by Fuqua is long gone.

There used to be one near I-10 and Hwy 6, not sure if it's still there.

Greek Tony's Pizza on Sawdust Rd. makes a burger on a sub roll. It's freaking awesome. Might be a bit far north for you.

I, too, work downtown (across from The Park Shops).

    I like Miller's. Good food.

There used to be one on W. Gray near Waugh. In the same center as Cafe Express/Marshall's, etc.

I'm craving me some Roznovsky's right now.

All of the Charlie's Hamburgers have closed. I used to go to the one on Bissonnet inside the loop.

You can't find a better hamburger, than at Fuddruckers believe me I eat hamburgers a lot. Been around the world trying to see if one competes but so far no winners.

Sadly, that part of town is a wasteland of corporate parks. Your best bet, if you're willing to drive up to 1960, is probably Cliff's on 1960 and TC Jester by the new Wal-Mart
