I'm applying at a fairly busy local university institute, and am writing a 500 word essay on my background, career goals, and reasons for wanting a career in broadcasting. This essay is necessary for application. I have about 350 words on my background and career goals...and i have a bit on why i want a career in broadcasting, but my mind is sorta wandering, so i come to my trusty bank of information, clutchcity. I want you guys to help me out. I need things that will actually fly for this essay. Give me some reasons to choose broadcast journalism...stuff that they will go "wow, this guy really knows what he's talkin about." Thanks.
Why are you wasting your time going to school for journalism? Just go down and apply at Sportsradio 610. Have you heard some of the guys they put on the air?
I would if i lived in houston...but i'm up in Vancouver -- and they have pretty good guys workin at the stations.
