Hey guys. Either Friday night or Saturday night I spilled a little bit of milk on my laptop. Spilled it just to the right of the motion-sensor pad, it didnt get on any buttons or leak down into it that I could see. After using it for the next couple of minutes, I noticed some milk coming out of the speaker holes in the front. After a while, it went dead. 30 minutes later, I could see the green power light on the keyboard blinking VERY dim like it was trying to come back on. I let it sit overnight, in the morning its good as new. Was on it all day yesterday. Last night I put it in its case and put it in my closet. Today I get home from work, cut it on, and NOTHING! Im really worried cause Ive only had it a few months and no reciept or anything to echange it for another one or to send it in with the warranty to get it fixed. Anything I can manually do?????? Also, how much do places like GeekSquad and the PC repair place Circuit City has cost?
Hopefully you don't have any pR0n yet, GeekSquad will steal it. Really, it sounds bad, I would take it apart and clean it.. then try to see if it will work, if not then take it to Circuit City and see how much it'l cost.
