[Help] Is there something wrong with this IE or Windows 7?

    I came over to a friend's house to help him with his computer. He told me for some reason his IE doesn't display correctly.

    It seems like the background colors and outlines on the pages are off, but it works fine with his Chrome and Firefox. Then, I look at the bottom taskbar of his Windows 7 and it just doesn't look right. The color and outline seems off. Even, when I click on the Start button the pop up menu outlines looks off.

    Is this something to do with Windows display setting? Kinda odd that Chrome and Firefox works fine.

    Here's a screen shot I took .. The left is Chrome on Espn.com and right is the IE on Espn.com .... doesn't the bottom right taskbar color seems off too, as well as the Start menu.

    It might be that a service didn't start properly and is not allowing "themes" to run right. :eek: Check the event viewer. Check the services.

    Chrome doesn't use Windows' theme, but IE does.

    After the update on Friday night, I believe, my machine running Windows Vista did the same thing. I restarted and everything ran fine.

    Theme is on Windows Classic.

    IE sucks.

    Yeah dude he's on classic theme for windows display settings which effects IE too and other application windows and IE does suck, lol.

    Hey thanks, changed to a different Theme and is good now.

    yeah, IE does sucks.
