Oh yeah, and do you scratch your head a lot? If so stop scratching and start patting.

I use Nioxin as well...albeit only the shampoo at the moment and not the scalp treatment and foam. A lot of hair places sell it and most swear by it. I do think it works to fight DHT on your scalp. I think it stopped my hair from falling out as well. But, I don't think it's doing the same work Propecia is doing. Using both in tandem might be beneficial. Some people start taking Propecia at the first sign of hair loss to prevent any more from falling out. It's not exactly cheap, though. A lot of people use Propecia and Rogaine in tandem. I would think some are doing Nioxin in combo with one or both of those as well with some success.

    Good luck!

P.S.: If your balls shrivel and fall off, then don't blame me. Just saying. ;)

I think every person reacts differently to these treatments. I've read stuff where people swear propecia accelerated their hair loss. supposedly, some initial hair shedding can happen with propecia and then the hair comes back...supposedly. i took it for a while. i don't recall shedding. i do recall it kept my hair from falling out. i wasn't sure it was working...so i stopped. then, i think i lost the hair it was keeping. i just said ***** it after a while. f-ing spending money on hair preventatives that i'm not even sure are working. lol. sometimes you just gotta say WTF...and paste some pubes up there. i kid. :D

The cleanser is the shampoo. The conditioner is the conditioner. It's not cheap, either. Is there a Sally's beauty supply near you? Go there and ask about Nioxin. They have a brand that is the same stuff and does the same thing as Nioxin for much cheaper.

You can buy nioxin at ULTA...I know there is an ULTA in first colony right by the ross and marshalls...somewhere in that complex. Yes propecia can be very expensive but it works (it really does) but its DAMN expensive...its about $72 for a months supply (if you buy a month at a time) and comes to about $2.25 per pill. Thats one expensive pill

You guys that are losing hair don't realise that evolution is trying to take place. That hair is keeping your brain too hot, and in this age of global warming, you do yourself wrong for trying to stop it. :p

Don't be ashamed of your body!

Accept it and move on. You'll be losing a lot more in the future, and what you don't lose will go gray.
