Hey, I just bought Guitar Hero III for Playstation 2 w/a wireless guitar packaged. I can't get the guitar to work. The light on both the wireless receiver and the guitar keep blinking. I have tried restarting the PS2 and trying different batteries. Nothing works.

    Any tips?

I didn't know they made wireless guitars for PS2. From what I remember, wireless devices don't work well with the PS2. The system just isn't made for wireless things.

Check batteries? I dunno, there should be some kind of sync button like on the 360 and its controllers.

Otherwise, just take it back and get a wired one, those work better.

Not sure if this applies, but for my wireless PS2 controller, there is a tiny button on the wireless receiver that I have to push in order to activate the wireless controller.

It's switched on. I don't see any buttons on either the receiver or the guitar/controller that would be what you are referring to. (only see the colored buttons at the top, the strum, the metal thing, and the select/start buttons).

The button that was on mine for the PS2 was definitely on the top of the receiver. It's about 1/2 a centimeter in diameter, so it's a really small little circular shaped black button. Same size on the guitar, therefore it was a lot harder to find on the guitar.

Maybe you got a diff guitar from me though.. there were 2 or 3 diff ones at least for the PS2
