    Is www.google.com going to the uk version for anyone else? I have tried on safari and firefox, and tried to google an answer, but no luck..

    apologies in advance for my ignorance!

    I sometimes get that or google.ca. There's usually a link to the bottom right that says "go to google.com" Once I do that it seems to default.

    Or you can type google.com/ncr (no country redirect) into the address bar...and again, once I do that once it seems to work for a bit at least until the cookies or cache or whatever other computer goblins that work behind the scenes have a change of heart. I'm using Chrome.
