Guys, I'm sure most of you remember Diseased Monkey. I met her a couple of times and she's really a good person. I got an email from her and she is kinda going through a rough time. She's in school and working but having some difficulty finding a place to stay or finding finacial aid for housing. I don't think people will have too much to go on without more specifics (as to where about she needs to live and what school). Regardless, all I can offer are words of encouragment. She seemed like a supremely cool girl, and I just about always enjoyed her witty jabs. With her personality, apparant intelligence, and if I heard correctly, good looks, she should have a leg up on the competition. At her age, you might want to recommend that she look for a job in the restaurant industry waiting tables--particularly at a cool spot. It can be tough work, and it can be even tougher to maintain balance in your life (it's definitely a party atmosphere that's hard to resist), but she can meet some other cool people this way, and best of all....it generally pays better than anything else available to people her age (at least in terms of jobs where you get to keep your clothes on). If nothing else, tell her I wish her well.

I barely knew who she was, so you are not the only one confused. I vaguely remember seeing her posts, but not much. Well, I wish her well anyway. I don't want to see anyone going through some times.
Actually she was banned because she and NSX kept taking over threads with stupid comments then arguing with each other and anyone else that posted asking them to quit. Moe just happened to be in the middle of "The Last Straw". Anyways I wish her well and hope she can land back on her feet. CK
