I’ve literally searched everywhere for this pic and have come up empty so far....I’m pretty sure someone on here can help me find what I'm lookin for... The pic Im lookin for.... A good shot of Aldine High's football helmet...preferably from 2001 and prior (before they changed there uniforms to something Tennessee Titan-esque) ...workin on a small graphic and I need that helmet to make sure I have the colors right. And if anyone's wondering...yep, its my Alma Mater ...c/o 2000
Why don't you just go over to the school if you're in town. I'm sure they have pictures in their old yearbook or what not. That's if you have that kind of time.
First off, I live across town in Sugarland...and yes, time is of the essence nowadays. Furthermore, Aldine's yearbooks are in black & white...even till this point. Friends of mine graduated from 97-99....black & white I graduated in 2000.....black & white. My sis graduated in 2003.....black & white A family friend graduatued this year.....you guessed it! C'mon...were talkin Aldine Independent School District here....aside from the construction of M.O. Campbell Center, our district has been notoriously cheap. Just walk through the halls of Aldine High (and look up for your own good)....you'll see what I'm talkin about... Given our then glourious playoff history, with an ESPN National Title trophy and games against the likes of then powerhouse Odessa Permian...i didnt think it would be this hard to find a pic of the football team's helmet. Interestingly enough someone actually had a file of the Permian vs. Aldine High State Final on Youtube...but now it too is gone. So, I'm really left hoping someone might have a pic.....someone...please.
Not sure if this is what you are looking for: http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A9G_RtjdS...77/**http://laportetexas.net/aldinehelmet.jpg If not, I suggest you go to the many high school football forums and ask around. Also, check out this forum: http://www.houstonarchitecture.info/haif/index.php?showtopic=9274 The user Firebird65 seems to know a lot about Aldine football.
