    hey fellas,

over the last couple months, i've had some trouble with watching videos online from ESPN.com and especially YouTube. they just keep eating away at my hard drive space, and i have to go clear out more music just to watch anything.

does anyone else have this problem? how do i fix this?

    thanks in advance.

try clearing out your Browser cache. In IE go to Tools>Internet Options>General tab> Delete in Browsing history.

I use ccleaner and it cleans out my entire computer of cached files.

your computer (if it is a PC) might have a lot of spyware on it, which affects performance. I suggest downloading two free programs to rid your PC of the spyware.

Google them to get links to free downloads: Spybot, Ad-Aware

Run both of them, clean out your IE cache and see if that helps

Tools>Internet Options>General>Settings [under Temporary Internet Files]>Set amount of disk space to use to a low number like 50MB or even less.

EsPn motion actually stores their videos in your profile folder under documents and settings from when I used to use it. the fact that this folder kept filling up made me just remove the espn motion software altogether. What a piece of crap.

what does it mean when things like espn motion, youtube, and flash videos all use like 90+% of my cpu when they run? i end up not watching a lot of things on youtube b/c my computer just stars overheating and the fan goes crazy to cool it off, and if i watch too long the computer with just turn off. i've got flash updated but have no idea what else to do or why youtube would suck up all of my cpu (google video too now that i think about it).

I hate everything on that stupid site. Everything is an "insider" article now. It's getting to the point where if you want to look up a damn score, you have to be an "Insider". I don't even visit the site much anymore because of that garbage.

I'm beginning to feel the same way. I just look to our BBS for any sports news or events or videos because I know eventually it will get posted here without all the extra crap that ESPN tries to shove down our throats.

The only thing I like about EsPN these days are their commercials.
