I just bidded on a pair of tix to a NBA game but it says "the reserve price hasn't been met". If the auction ends with me as the higgest bidder, am i obligated to buy those tix? Thanks for answering.
Nope.. Now he can e-mail you saying I know the reserve has not been met but if you want I can still sell you the ticket for what you bid for. Normally Reserve needs to be met in order to be sold
so i dont have to respond to him if im no longer interested right? will he leave me a negative feedback?
No you don't, even though you might be the highest bidder, you technically still didn't win the item. He won't leave you negative feedback if the reserve hasn't been met.
He can't leave you ANY feedback if the reserve has not been met. He could lower the reserve to meet your price before the auction end - but that is very rare. By the way, you can retract a bid if you do it within an hour of placing a bid. You can do this 2 times in a 6 month period (I think).
Thanks htownballa23 and ArtV, I cant believe i just spent $100 on a pair of tix to a Knicks home game.
