I mentioned this in the torrent thread even though it didn't really belong there. I've been trying to access a movie download site at home. I've tried using two different computers and browsers. No luck. The page won't even load. I'm not having any problem accessing any other sites that I know of. I tried the same site from my work computer and was able to access it with no problem, but I'm not going to download movies at work. Is Comcast c*ckblockng me? And is there any way around it?
yeah its comcast. they dont like ppl using up bandwith. they knocked on my door the other day saying they need to install an amplifier in my house because im using up too much signal 6 tv's will do that i guess.... lol
they pretty much blocked a few sites of mine. there are always ways around it though. commiecast strikes again
No. Legit movies, although there is a section dedicated to adult intercourse. How do I use a proxy? For those interested: movierush dot org
http://proxy.org/ You put in an address and it sends you to the site by routing through a different "proxy" server that doesn't block the content. I tried that with your site and it worked fine, but it won't come up directly through Comcast for me either.
using comcast business line doesnt block it for me. I havent checked it across my residential line. Wonder if that would make a difference?
When I was at my in-laws house today, i was able to connect to the site from their cable (they are/were Time Warner). But here at my house, with my TW/Comcast, I can't connect to it directly. I can only connect to it through a proxy. If Comcast is blocking it, I'm gonna be pissed.
