I've got a new Blackberry Curve (wifey got it with a new contract!). I have my home email set up on it. The problem is all I'm getting is who it's from and the subject. I'm not getting the body of the message. In other words it's pretty useless. I've tried the "help" feature but haven't found the solution.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

The option is probably set to receive message headers only...
Are you using BIS...the blackberry website where you setup your email? Have you checked the options there?

Thank you for starting this thread. I have a huge problem with my Blackberry 8750.

We had a new server installed. Ever since then, as soon as emails arrive at my Blackberry, they are shown as read in Outlook. This has caused me to miss several emails because they gray out in Outlook before I'm able to read them. Another problem is that emails sent from the Blackberry no longer show up in my Sent Items folder.

Again, this started happening immediately when our new server came online. Before then, everything worked perfectly.

    Help. :( :( :(

My IT guy says I need to get a new Blackberry but I'm satisfied with the one I have and don't want to be forced to reward RIM for a mistake they are probably responsible for. We've updated the software on the Blackberry but that didn't help. I'm also thinking about firing my IT guy because he can't figure it out.

I'm sure you are right about the header setting, but I went to the TMobile account page and the only option I found that I could change was for the time zone. I'm sure it's somewhere but I can't find it.

Log into BIS again and view your email account settings.
There should be a section for FILTERS (if you don't see it then you maybe looking at the wrong page because it is there). Check all the filters that you may have setup and make sure that none of them have the option for HEADERS ONLY enabled. They should all be set to Forward emails to the blackberry only...

Does it matter that it's tied to my Comcast email?
I looked in filters but saw no such option.

Have you tried removing the Comcast account from BIS?
If not, try that...then re-add it and resend the service books.
Hopefully that works otherwise I am not sure exactly where to go to look for the right option since I only work with BES on a daily basis and the last time I have seen a BIS interface was when I was working at Verizon....but hey...maybe Dave2000 will see this thread and answer your question :D
