Does anyone have satelite, particularly dish, and cant watch rockets games? I cant watch rockets games because i am blacked out on fsn even though i live in houston.
I don't have 449. Do you have dish then, and could you tell me the general area where you live. I keep on calling Dish but they say i live in houston and therefore i am not allowed to watch the rockets. I have a friend down the street with cable and he can watch rockets games with no problem.
I am up in Spring and on my Dish network and my father's who lives in The Woodlands, our Rocket games are not on the actual FSN channel, which is 416. They are on one of the channels above it, 444, 445, 446, 447, 448 or 449. Tonight's game is on 449. Whoever told you that at Dish is incorrect there is no blackout in Houston, the games are televised in Houston.
Thank you guys, helps a lot. One last question, did u guys order those other channels? Because all i ordered was FSN. I dont see the 440s and 450s.
i got the game on 449, but my friend who lives about 5 mins away had the same problem....it sent him to some website where he had to pay
You have to watch all games that are subject to blackout on the sports alternative channels on dish I don't know y though
It depends on which package you purchased. The 120 channel package includes all the rockets games, the 180 channel package includes all the post game coverage on top of the games, and the 60 game package gives u jack squat on rockets coverage. Or at least its what I was told when I called up dish network with a similar issue. I think the upgrade from the 60 channel to 120 channel package cost only 5 bux extra a month.
