Hey Guys, I just switched to att uverse and unfortunantely I found out that they don't carry the NBA package. I need some help to find a site on the internet where I can watch the games.. I am sorry if this is the wrong thread... Fine me... Thanks, T_Man
Sopcast will usually have the games since there are Chinese channels who have them on. If you have a 700 kbps connection it should be just good enough to watch. The channels you'll typically be watching are CCTV-5 and Shanghai Sports. Of course the commentary will be in Chinese, and the broadcast will probably be a bit lagged (about 30 seconds-1 minute). You can find more information here: http://www.myp2p.eu/NBA.htm This is how I've been watching games the last few years.
You can even have 512 kbps connection speed, it's enough. Well the comentary is Chinese, but the channels have simply every Rockets' game and they're workin' really great.
Can you give me some help or tips about this channel? When and how can I watch the games,I have 512 kb connection.
I have the same problem! Except I switched to verizon FIOs because they promised me that they were going to carry NBA league pass but for some reason they decided not to. Of course I am pissed. I have not gone with out league pass in manny years. Yes...I'm pissed. So I guess I will be investigating watching via the internet as well.
basically they are all direct broadcasting, so you just need to open your sopcast, and click on the CCTV-5 channel when the game begins. GL!
I saw watch Sopcat, and listen to the free game audio from nba.com You will get the best of both worlds.
oh, and in addition to CCTV-5, sometimes other channels like ShangHai GSports, or taiwan weilai sports also broadcast Rockets games too. I'm not sure if sopcast have them, but I have some other similar softwares such as ppmate or ppstream, in case you cannot find the channel, try those instead.
Last year, a bunch of people were selling their NBA LP online accounts. I don't know if they will be doing that again this year, but I would like to get one just in case my friends don't decide to get LP.
Why not just switch back to Cable or Satellite??? Actually since they don't carry the league pass package...you might be able to get the games by subscribing to their RSN Sports Pkg..
It is free, and you hsould use it as much as possible when the gamei sn't on TV, because this will be peterson and foley's last season!
Last year streamtvnow.tv shown every Rockets game, but it is not free (6.60 monthly). Don't know this year but if yes they are the perfect solution for people like us who doesn't live in Houston area (or in the US like me).
