    they put the basketball floor on top of where ice hockey is played. the moisture kept building up on the floor so the floor has been wet and slippery since this morning. cancelled game :mad:

    I understand that Tampa doesn't have an NBA team, but they have other things come in.

    From my understanding, at least at Toyota Center, they just cover it with some type of plywood, don't they? I've poked my finger between those cracks to touch ice one time when I was on the floor at Toyota Center.

    The bigwigs wanted this game canceled. Think how devastating it would be to their pockets if James, Wade, or Howard got injured in the last preseason game. Slick floor was just a slick excuse.
