Seems to be a good game so far, Shaq's not dominating, Eddie Jones is bouncing back, Michael Redd is trying to single-handedly carry his team... My question is: on Dwayne Wade's "spin" move....isn't that traveling? He seems to lift his pivot once he picks up his dribble then takes 2 steps to get in the lane. Anyone?
Doesn't Steve do the same thing? He got called tonight for double-dribbling and also an 8 second violation.
Shaq dominated the 2nd half of the ballgame, extremely efficient. I got a kick out of Bill Walton pointing out that he was so effective because they were getting the ball to him early in the shot clock and letting him make decisions with it, giving him the opportunity to pass out for wide open looks. I also observed that Shaq would come down and set up on the low block, he wasnt running around setting screens for everybody else. He was setting up on the low block and they were throwing the rock down to him as soon as he posted up. Maybe one brother can help another? Please God, Please.
Well, the one I saw, he spun (one step) then took 2 steps after that and THEN jumped...maybe I'm mistaken...
I loved how Walton pointed out how Shaq running back on defense was Carl Lews-esque. Seriously though there was a stretch in the 3rd quarter there when Shaq sprinted, not ran, sprinted back onto defense for no real reason. Wade I think is going to get a lot of calls his way because he has gotten a lot of hype recently, he is a great player no doubt but I wouldn't try to elevate him to the status of the kobes, tracys, iversons just yet. That pass though to shaq after he got blocked by Gadzuric was amazing though
