Tanking is getting more obvious. What if with all the tanking and the quitting, the heat fell to 4th pick in the draft?
I have a simple solution. Teams at the bottom of the rankings receive a lesser share of the league revenues.

Simple fix to tanking- every team in the lottery gets an equal number of balls. That way everyone plays hard. Of course, this goes hand in hand with a top-16 playoff. That way the REAL bottom 16 teams get in the lotto.
Ricky davis plays 35+ minutes and only puts up 12 points? please....this was the guy who tried to catch his own rebound for a triple double. dude needs to fill up the stat sheet if no one else wants to ball on that god forsaken team.
lmao, the very same powerhouse that somehow managed to stop kobe from breaking wilts record of 100 points in a game. the heat won't win a top 3 pick in this years draft. the fix is in, the nba hates tankers.
.....but the NBA and Stern, in particular, looooove their stars. Wade is one of the primary faces of the league. He's most marketable when he's winning games. It won't surprise me at all if this blatent and gutless tanking pays off. Ask the Spurs about karma and if that strategy pays off or not.
According to Yahoo, the Raptors scored 67 points in the 2nd quarter? Denver wha??? http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore?gid=2008031928
