Anyone here think that the Heat vs. Lakers on Christmas day is getting old? I could understand it the first year, the 2nd year it was waning, now a third year? They're talking about it as being a holiday tradition? I like the Wade/Kobe match up but honestly I think the NBA could've done something better, like Spurs/Suns or Mavs/Lakers.
I agree. Lakers/Heat? I think I'll pass this year. Why they even did it on christmas, I dont even understand. They built it up to be a heated rival than play on Christmas? Anybody can get along on Christmas day. Atleast we got some football this year

Hell yeah its old. And Shaq isn't even playing so the Shaq Kobe rivalry isn't there. It should be Rockets-Heat cause you get the inside outside rivalry with the 2 most dominant centers in the NBA. Maybe the NBA will realize that for next year.
I disagree. I am even more interested in it this year because there is no Shaq and Lamar, just a straight up Wade vs. Kobe matchup. Let's just hope both superstars will go at it this game, but it's not very encouraging so far when you have Wright outplaying Kobe. Looks like Wade came to play, I can't say the same of Kobe so far. I bet a flagrant 1 foul would liven things up a bit...
yep, I agree with u tigermission. it's really interesting to watch Kobe and Wade go at it with relatively similar supporting cast (but Kobe's supporting cast is somehow better than Wade's) I am really glad Kobe is off today. I hate Kobe, I really do. I want Wade to school him and show him that he is nothing but a selfish ballhog. btw, did u see the wideopen baseline J that Kobe took and hit the side of the backboard?

I have a huge man crush on Wade...man that guy is freaking relentless, he gets hammered every time down the court and still keeps taking it inside...a fearless warrior. Love his game, very old school... Oh, and Kobe, please show up and make things interesting, Wade is raping your team right now and you are merely a witness...try and make things a bit interesting for the fans tuning in to watch a promising superstar matchup.

Forget Kobe vs Wade, the real Christmas Day rivalry was T-Mac vs LeBron a few years back when T-Mac owned it up with like 42 points and the Magic won.
Well, Kobe sucking and getting owned by not just Wade, but some guy named Wright is DEFINITELY not going to help the ratings.
freakin officials constantly help the Lakers, I just dont know why. it's not the first time, I've seen this happen over and over again they kept calling BS fouls on Wright to get him out so Kobe can play a little better. I think abc begged the officials to get him out so Kobe can score a couple of baskets and make the game interesting.
