Major props to him signing with Dallas last season over us. Judging by his 1.8 PPG, 2.9 RPG and the dazzling 32% he shot from the field i'd say he made quite the impact! Please. He's on the Memo Okur/Wally Szczerbiak level of worst NBA All-Star's ever.

I agree. He is, in no way shape or form, a top tier center. But he should at least be a 2nd tier center, but I kind of wonder if he got fat and happy after that All-Star appearance and contract.
he lost his work ethic when he was traded to become a bench player after having an allstar year. since then he's seemed to not really try while riding the bench in other cities. hopefully, a possible starting job in miami will give him the motivation he needs to return to form.
Combination of everything: settling after a big contract, bad luck getting injured after his All-Star year, lessed roles on teams, attitude and worth ethic, getting the Juwan Howard/Shareef Abdur Rahim Cant-Win-With-This-Guy treatment. I didn't realize he was only 30, if thats the case, he's just a lazy mofo, I thought he was alright for his 04 all-star season, I guess he was just dumb to think someone would give him a big contract after he had his all-star year.
Jamaal Magloire was a total "electoral vote" (as Hollinger would say) All-Star pick. The Hornets were doing well (because of Baron Davis), so they "had" to get another All-Star representative. Magloire had an above-average but unspectacular year, averaging 13.6 ppg, 10.3 rpg, 1.2 bpg, and 0.476 FG%. Good, but far from All-Star. Remember in 2004, Lebron James didn't make the All-Star team. Somehow, Magloire did. I really hate picking borderline or extremely questionable "stars" based on their team's performance for one season (or rather part a season, since the All-Star game is in February), which may or may not be a fluke. That's how you get ridiculous picks Magloire, who people won't even make an impression on people a couple years later.
