Playoffs or not, this was incredible. I know I wasn't supposed to start another thread for two weeks, but dammit, I can't help it. I don't care what happens the rest of the season, this team has shown me what they are all about. Heart. They have heart, and I love this team. Who the hell says there is something wrong with the NBA. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS LEAGUE! I love this game, and I bloody love this team. If I ever accuse the Rockets of being losers or heartless, ban the f*ck out of me! I mean, MY GOD. They just lost the best player in the history of their franchise to serious health problems, and were coming off one of their most disappointing losses of the season. They were DEAD with three minutes to go, and they came to life. Amazing! ------------------ Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon is the greatest player in the history of basketball. You got it, Tweak! ------------------ "I was arrested for sexual assault involving an elderly man and I was out in 35 minutes." -- Achebe - programmer by day, geriatric ass grabber by night. As(s?) a side note, he did state he was cleared of charges.
I'm sooo damn proud of you ZRB!!!! That is the best post you have EVER made!! Heres BFGs for ya ------------------ Lar
More like heart-attack! Man, these past few games have been like riding a roller coaster! Man! These guys are something else! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! ------------------ "I hate every ape I see - from chimpan-a to chimpanzee. No, you'll never make a monkey out of me." - From the 'Planet of the Apes' musical on the Simpsons
Wow, Tweak, the now that you are convinced, the Rockets are a good team? Sorry, they have been a good team for some time. ------------------ Whitey will pay.
Has anyone checked Rudy T's heart and made sure it is still working? I almost needed a defibulator for mine after that game. What a great game. Rudy did a great job when it looked like this team was dead with about three minutes to go! ------------------
Man, now I'm going to have to spend the next 2 hours burning off this adrenaline. That game was ridiculously long, man they just never quit, great win! ------------------ The Heart of a Champion still beats. . .
Simply amazing...Bill and Calvin said it best- this is the greatest regular season win in franchise history - and what a big time. Moochie spoke for me out on the court, there is nothing I can say about him to describe him tonight. This win is going to go a long way for the next month...and if we get in the playoffs, look no further than tonight as to the reason we will make it. Right now I wouldn't care if we played nobody but the Spurs, Lakers, Jazz, and Blazers for the rest of the year...we would still make the playoffs! I think Hakeem has spread his heart of a champion over the rest of this team. LETS GO ROCKETS- THE PLAYOFFS ARE NEAR! ------------------
Did those bastards play tonight? (Suns) ------------------ President of the Steve Francis, Jamal Crawford,Larry Hughes, and Charles Woodson fan club.
No, the motherf*cking **** $%^&* holes didn't play today. Tomorrow. ------------------ Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon is the greatest player in the history of basketball. If you disagree, you are not a Rocket fan.
The Suns game was a disease - and this game was the cure. ------------------ "I hate every ape I see - from chimpan-a to chimpanzee. No, you'll never make a monkey out of me." - From the 'Planet of the Apes' musical on the Simpsons

GREAT GAME
I think all of the peeps that been saying "the ball shouldn't be in Mooch's hands in the end" learned a thing or two today. But on the real, usually Moochie is pretty undecisive with the ball sometimes, and forces it in where he gets swatted by the giants. Today, on the other hand, he was very decisive and played just one hell of a game. What a freakin tite game!!! Everybody stepped up when it counted... Mo, Mobley, Cato, especially Moochie. I was surprised by Mo, who was having a real crappy game, but then turned it around towards the end and made some clutch plays. 1 complaint though - WHY WAIT TIL THERE'S A FREAKIN 3 MINUTES LEFT IN THE GAME TO START PLAYING??? I was about to start cryin when it was halfway thru the 4th, and we still hadn't scored a single basket throughout the quarter. ------------------ PrEsident of The Danforth Langhford FAN CLUB... Damn, just a few hours ago I was lamenting the (career) death of a hero and the end of the Rox's playoff hopes... *******, they proved me wrong! WOOHOOO!!! What is this now, 15 of the last 19? That's HOT any way you put it. Just about any team now would love to have such a post-break record. And what can you say about a bunch of young guys (kids, to me) who, only minutes before a game, hear that they're going to lose their Icon/Hero/Legend... And what do they do? *******, I'm actually starting to cry - good tears - and I don't cry.... Much better than the scream 5 hours ago... Playoff hopes are still alive. ------------------
Whether they make it or not, this is a playoff team. ------------------ Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon is the greatest player in the history of basketball. If you disagree, you are not a Rocket fan.
Treeman--cry on, brother!! What a game, WHAT A GAME!! Wow... ------------------ HOUSTON Rockets forever!!
