you can talk all you want about this or that about the rockets. the truth of the matter is this team has no fire....no guts....no heart in their play.

the difference between the talent of todays team and the championship years is the team back in the day killed other teams. mario's kiss of death...kenny's clutch threes...dreams stabs to the mvp robinson....mad max.....sweep of the magic....those days rudy t put some fire in the rockets and played with some frickn heart. there's too much thinking involved with this team today.

How come the Spurs have found some new clutch players like that Roger Mason guy?

we just need leadership on the team. Remember Cassell going to the Clippers, that guy brought leadership. He told everybody on that team that they were to shock the world and he would be the king of LA.

who on our team shows that leadership now?

the championship Rockets were made of all leaders.
just look what happened when the Spurs got Elie, they suddenly weren't a soft team anymore.

Now it really does seem like its been a really long time ago.

Like the term fake hustle Mark Jackson overuses, this team has fake heart.

All kinda talking and posturing and saying they're gonna do something. Getting under each other's skin for motivation, individuals taking it upon themselves to carry the team outside the team concept.

Those championship teams had EACH OTHERS backs. This one has a bunch of guys wanting to shine in SPITE of each other.

    This team is pathetic.

"They" say it was a one man team, but we know each night in the playoffs, someone elevated their game.
