Do we really need Reggie? I'm leaning towards no myself.

I don't expect Reggie to offer much more than we can already find in Novak. Adding another contract without taking any away doesn't feel right with our current roster either.

    Would have to pass..

I don't think he's the answer to anything at his age. He's certainly not a starter. But in limited minutes to space the floor and hit the open three? I would love it. He would also provide some veteran leadership and some much needed grit.

Interesting. I hope he signs elsewhere. Maybe we contacted him to advice him to stay home

The guy is one of those thin wiry types that tend to last a long time, but jeesh, he's 42, he may possibly be older than DEKE !!!!

I say no way. I'd be happy if he gave it a go with the Celtics if he can still play, but we don't need him. They have under the minimum number of players, they have got to recruit some guys or do a trade, but who would be left?

I'd rather take Reggie over McGrady if Tmac's abck still questionable. Reggie is more effective in shooting.

It was Allan Houston who was trying to do a Miller: coming back.

And I don't expect Novak to offer much more than we already got from Langhi. Pure shooting skills don't count if you can't hit in a game situation. Novak might turn out to be something akin to a Bullard, maybe even more, but we don't know that yet and, worse, neither does he. So there's something more Reggie could offer: confidence and the ability to hit when it's all on the line. I would say that's much, MUCH more than we've got in Novak.

Can anyone confirm? It doesn't sound credible.

I think someone heard reggie is considering comeback since the Celtics called him to see if he considering comming back. But allen HOUSTON is also considering comming back as he is working out in NYK's facilities...
So this may be a miss impretation of Reggie comming back as a Celtic and allen HOUSTON comming back as a role player... not Reggie wanted to come to Houston Rockets...

this is what ESPN reports... It's not that the Rockets are calling Reggie, its that "Houston" is also considering coming out of retirement

    the headline looks deceiving:

    unless we hrar otherwise,

Couldn't have said it better... The only problem with trying to add him is that we already have so many players on the roster.

    yeah like 5 years ago.

you know my feelings on head but atleast he's young with room for improvement. reggie was on the decline when he retired, who knows what'd he be like 2 years after. there's no way reggie miller will ever be a houston rocket but either way, i'd way rather have head.
