I am looking for health insurance and decided to see how many members here have health insurance and if there are some insurance they would like to recommend. What should be the highest priority, money or coverage? How much are you currently paying and are you utilizing you health insurance? I have search and find out that many times the insurance company will cheat you with coverage they say they will provide. Any information is welcome.

United Healthcare could be be pretty good... has been for us.

Also, get some Aflac for the in-case-you-have-to-miss-work scenario... while medical pays the doctors and hospital, Aflac pays your everyday bills while you're not bringing in pay... and it's tax free.

Email me through the board about the Aflac if interested.

HAHAHAH two replies = 2 guys trying to make $$$

    awesome!

I would first think about how often you plan to go to the Dr. For the last 2 years I got the expensive coverage and felt good about it. Then I went through the last 2 years bills and saw I saved only a third of the extra $$$ I spent by going with the expensive plan. No I go with the cheap plan and pay high co-pays.

I don't like going to the Dr. and having to get referred would really annoy me so I go with the PPO plans. If you don't care about that and hardly ever go to the Dr. just shop around for a cheap HMO from a big company. I go with Aetna.

I know people that have used esurance.com to shop, but I don't know how good they are.
