......his radio show that is. Not sure which hour (he announced this yesterday) I might not be able to listen. a recap would be nice.
shane battier has his ways.. nobody in this history of the nba is as overrated as he is. it's good because he is a good dude.
Well you're obviously an idiot. Most overrated player ever? Have you ever watched a game of basketball? ****ing n00bs man. This place used to have such great discussion. Sad.
name one player that is more overrated than him! don't tell me tmac is overrated coz he never passed the 1st round coz he ave. 28+ in da playoff!!
it's funny too coz right after i got this name luther got cut!! lol u know wat, i think new jersey nets r gonna sign him
Overrated? Wow...... Maybe Underrated. Shane is Shane. He goes out gives all that he has every minute he's out there. Very high basketball IQ. Not as athletic as the player he's usually chasing, but yet still makes a difference. Doesn't fill up the boxscore, but definitely makes big plays at key parts of the game. There is not one team in this league that would not like to have Shane on their roster.
I keep getting myself suckered in these threads. People no longer understand how fundamental basketball is important anymore. People see Ronald Murray's points and thinks he's underrated.... Novak makes a few 3s and he's apparently supposed to be good. Let's not talk about how everyone isolates him on defense. The threads in this forum used to be filled with intellectual conversations. But I guess with more people, you get a few of those with a bunch of knee-jerk reaction threads, and that always stood out amongst the many insightful ones. Everyone wants to feel like they have to post on a subject without really thinking about whether other people really care about this topic. Shane is one of the most underrated players until recently. People are starting to see why he's such an important aspect of this team. He's the face of team basketball and he does all the things to make things work. The hustle plays, the smart basketball, the spacing. He knew exactly where to go and what to do on situations. You would think that all NBA players should know that, but you can count on one hand the amount of people that knows this game more than he does. His defensive strategies and the way he pressures an offensive player changes based on each player. He obviously studies his films closely. But back on topic, I would love to hear about this interview!
