    Howdy Y'all.

    Sure is hot on this fine Thursday in Houston.


    Just wanted to let you fine folks here at clutchfans.net know that R2k (Larry) is back up and buckin' and doing mighty fine, and your donations sure were appreciated... And now some people have put together a little BBQ Fundraiser to continue to help out Larry and his family.

    If any of y'all are interested in dropping by and grabbing some good grub all for a good cause... Details can be found on this neat and dandy little flyer I am posting below (also if there were any of you who didn't get a chance to donate beforehand, there is a bank account now set up where you will be able to do so through more conventional means than before).

    We should figure out to get a portable goal out there to ball out there too :)

    Ill try to make it out, I'm sure Kam will be there, he's always in Pasadena.

    I'll be there early as I have to leave by 1pm to go watch the US beats Ghana at 1:30 that day to advance to the quarterfinals.

    While I won't be in Houston that weekend, Moes, I'll be there during that week visiting an ill family member. In the previous thread, I said I was going to donate to R2K's fund, which I've yet to do. Thanks to you starting this fundraiser thread, a great idea, btw, I can now make a direct donation to his account at Chase. In fact, I assume it's possible in Austin. There won't be a name attached, unless there's a way to put Deckard there, but look for $50 from an Austin cat who considers R2K a friend.

    I think what you're doing is fantastic.

    I have seen Larry's legendary skyhook from 3-point distance. "Strong" does not do it justice.

    Can't make the bbq, but I'll help out in other ways.

    Just an aside: is it a good idea to post a bank acct# on the internet?
