Tune in guys, if someone can capture the audio for those who can't listen/tune-in, that would be great...
While I love sura and all, it's time to move on. We cannot continue to give up a roster spot for someone who's health is going to be in question for the foreseeable future.
All along, I felt pretty certain we would never see Sura on the court again. I loved his play last year, but I think it is time for him to retire.
We definetly need a backup PG. If Rafer goes down! That's too bad about Sura. I really wanted to see him come back. Sura was the X-Factor last season.
No biggie, thanks though. man that sucks about Sura, guess that back up PG talk was probably a result of his knee going out again.
So can the Rockets try to buyout the rest of his contract? His contract is: 2005/2006- 3.5 2006/2007- 3.8 2007/2008- 3.84
Is there anything in the NBA similar to injured players in MLB? Could the Rockets pull an Astros and claim insurance on the injury and get the money back in the final year of his contract?? Anyone know?
I might be wrong, but I do believe that insurance pays for disabled players (i.e. Grant Hill or Allen Houston) but it still counts against the cap.
