I hate Rome, you know that he use to be a model for the Home Shopping Network, you know the guys that put their hands in their jacket pockets and spin around and look like they love the $300.00 fake leather coat they have on....

    We've gone through this before.
It's more than appropriate to post former Rocket news in here...especially when one will probably talk about the Rockets.

"Well you know, Jim, we didn't really practice the fastbreak too much last year. We mostly worked on ways to effectively dribble the ball off Steve Francis' foot out of bounds. By the way Jim, did you know Steve Francis was like voted most famous athlete in Houston?"

"This is Jim Rome interviewing Stevie Franchise formerly with the Houston Rockets. Steve what do you have to say?"

SF: "Word, dribble dribble dribble turnover. What up?"

Jim Rome: "Steve, are you r****ded or what?"

SF3: "Hee hee, Dunk attempt, waste 23 seconds, turnover ... hee hee ... F.U. Yao"

Rome: "Next we are stepping up the IQ a Little and interviewing Walter Barry ...."

So we get to listen to Rome sucking SF off? I can't stand that show. According to him....if you come on his show you rule. If you don't you suck. I personally think HE sucks.

If Dan Langhi's Summer League accomplishments can make the GARM, then that sets the bar for threads.

Dude, I don't find it funny at all. At least give the guy some respect. He poured his heart out for Houston. Don't act like an ass. Other players will probably think Houston won't treat them right if they play for us...stop the Steve hating already!!! By the way, did I mention it was a very sad attempt to be funny?

'Romey' trashed Chuckles mercilessly and endlessly until Rudy, yes our Rudy T, forged a truce. Chuck came on Rome's show and was pandered to, and has been subsequently.

So, come on the show and get love or stay away and be trashed. More journalistic excellence by the highly overrated, self-promoting Jim Rome.
