This is the game where Steve Francis had 44 points and Yao dunked it at the very end in OT. This game was awesome.

Yeah this is a classic game. Yao's 3 blocks on Shaq's first 3 attempts. Talking about "Wow". This is definitely some history-defining game.

Thanks for the heads up dude. I got my DVR set! Now if only ESPNC didn't cut out potions of the game and skip ahead like they do.

sweet. I gave away tickets to that one because I had to be in Monte-Carlo.

I made it for the 2nd game in Htown that Shaq was in, but the security was so high because of the war.

Heypartner was telling me at the game that the 1st game there was like this electric buzz throughout the crowd.

That was totally missing in the 2nd game. Add to that my silly roommates didn't start recording the 1st game until after the 3 minutes into it.

On the other hand, I already knew who won, because even though I tried to blind myself from the result, I couldn't resist to become one of Luftansa's first trial user's of their airplane internet laptops.

I was at that game, and it was THE BEST game I've ever seen in any type of sport. I was going crazy. That was probably Steve's second best game (his best being where he made the two acrobatic shots back-to-back and carried the Rockets to victory in last seasons playoffs).

I originally had it saved on my Tivo a good amount of time after the game happened, but eventually deleted it to make room for more Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Scrubs, etc... Man, I wish I would have kept it on there.

amazing. of the 10 starters in this game, only 2, kobe and yao, are still starting and only 1 more, devean george, is even with either team still.

both coaches are no longer coaching either team. mike tirico even pointed out that rudy T was all smiles, loving coaching a starting lineup with a 20 year old, a 22 year old, and 2 25 year olds. little did he know we'd toss rudy aside later on.

shaq getting his first 4 shots blocked (3 by yao, one by EG) has to be historic. i'm willing to bet he's never even had 3 straight shots blocked and may have never had 2 straight shots blocked. it's just amazing seeing 4 straight blocked on shaq.

man this was a fun game to watch.

sweet, watched it last night. seeing griffin really upsets me. steve's hustle and relentless attacks to the basket reminded how much better he was before van gundy came along

i just finished watchign it and yes he did. hit a 3 on a break then airballed a 3 on the break. didn't seem to do much else except grab a rebound here and there.

steve was just crazy in this game, he was never better. i think it's in overtime where he fakes pulling up for a 3 and then just blows by rick fox and gets fouled by kobe. incredible move, walton was oohing and aaaahing as soon as it happened.

that game had such an amazing atmosphere and an amazingly underrated performance by mobley. not only did he score 29 points to carry the offense along with steve, but he hit 4 huge free throws in a row with under 10 seconds left in OT to keep giving us a 4 point lead, and he played great defense on kobe, constantly slapping it away as kobe went up for turnaround jumpers. he held kobe to 5-22 shooting that game. an exceptional all-around performance.

i remember that game. cato most certainly did not block 3 or 4 in a row and from what i recall he simply blocked two over the course of a few minutes. damn impressive and huge in getting the win (another mid-january classic against the lakers for the rockets) but not 3 in a row and certainly not 4 in a row.

I'm a night owl and even I wasn't awake for that game. It's good to see Houston finally getting some primetime coverage in the wee hours of the morning. :D
