Seriously, they did! They were winning by 15 in the fourth and ended up having to go to overtime. If they would've lost I think that would have been it for the Wizards this season. I don't think they would've been able to recover from that. Laettner was the main reason they won. He's finally starting to play to his ability. And no sports announcer or writer will say it, but Jordan played like garbage, and has been playing like garbage except for maybe two or three games this season. He turns the ball over in the fourth quarter all the time! His stats of 26 ppg is very deceiving. He misses layups often, doesn't even hit rim on some of his shots, gets his shot blocked. Pierce has now outplayed him on three different occasions since his return. I think Jordan will soon be back to hitting over 50% of his shots and not making many mistakes, but so far this season he has not played good. I kind of feel sorry for the other Wizards players, because "sports people" only blame them and not Jordan, eventhough Jordan's play is a big reason for the terrible start to the season.
I agree DCkid. Just look at the stats. Christian Laettner scored just as much as Jordan...oh did I mention he took 14 less field goals and 2 less free throws! Oh well, he'll still be the leading vote getter for the all-star game...
Even in the weak East, Jordan deserves to go to the All-Star game. OT, does anyone think Hakeem will make the All-Star team in the East?
I was thinking about that earlier, and I think it could be a possibility, but it would take quite a few more of those 14, 20 and 5 games from Dream to win one of the 3 center spots between Zo, Deke, Jermaine, Theo and Ben Wallace.
