Hitting the road in a few minutes and heading to West Palm Beach for Spring Break. 2nd year in a row.

We will be at the games on Sat, Sun, Tues and Wed. Look for the big goofy-looking guy with the Altuve jersey (me) with the hot wife and the twin 13-year olds. We'll be right behind the Astros dugout, most likely beer in hand.

We will get as many pics and autographs as we can. Will really miss Breggy this year, as he was always one of the nicest players on the team.

Fingers crossed I can get a pic with Julia Morales this time......

My wife and I went to see them a few years back.
Booked everything and then there was a lockout.
Still went and had a good time.

I took one trip when they were still in Kissimmee and we had just signed Miguel Tejada.

As far as I know, yes. They generally work out between 9 and 11 for a 1pm game.

How was it?? I keep telling myself I HAVE to go, I heard its super laid back. Our corporate office is in West Palm and the few times I was there the place was very $$$$$ (Food and Lodging)

What was the price of tickets for the games?

good seats are $30 but stub hub charged $20 .processing %&#@ We're going to try and buy next games tix at stadium. Been coming for quite a few years. It is pretty laid back but not like the "old Days" in Kissimmee. That was really cool. Sit in grass with kids and watch for next to nothing. Its a big business now.

Got back last week but had to leave town again for a couple of out of town weddings.

    A few random notes:
    • Yankee fans.....are awesome. The game against them was standing room only and pretty much 50/50 between them and us. They are obnoxious as a group, but couldn't be nicer when you talk to them individually. They don't take themselves too seriously and just have fun with it all. Hung out with them in the stadium, parking lot and even hotel and every encounter with them was totally positive. They are awesome. Note, these are REAL yankee fans who actually live in NY, not the fake ones in other ML cities.
    • Really had to have a roster list when getting pics/autographs this year. So many new players and minor leaguers.
    • Like last year, Dubon wins the prize for most fan-friendly player. Just like always, he didn't leave until he signed ever autograph and took every pic he was asked to all 4 days we were there. Took the time to talk to everyone, very engaging. He would actually say "everyone good??" before he would leave. How can you not pull for a guy like that?
    • Espada was the same way. He would come out early every day just so he would have time to sign and take pics
    • Some loser adult knocked a little kid over trying to get Pena's autograph. Pena invited the kid to the other side of the rope, signed his jersey, took a pic with him and gave him his glove. Awesome dude.
    • Cam Smith walked right by all the kids asking for his autograph all 4 days without even acknowledging them, much less stopping to sign anything. One day he was actually laughing as he did it. Just totally ignored everyone. Seems like kind of a jerk.
    • Altuve is THE MAN. A bunch of old ladies yelled "we love you Altuve!" while he was in the batters box and he turned around and blew them a kiss. Next time up, he saw a kid with a sign that said it's my birthday and he waived and told him happy birthday. While in the batters box warming up.
For the last 2 games we went to, we got tickets on row 2 right behind home plate. Less than $100/each. At MMP (or whatever the name is), those tickets would have been 4 digits each. I started getting texts from my Astros friends saying to waive because we were on TV pretty much the whole game.
