One of my closest friends gets these bad headaches/migranes pretty often. I feel sorry for her because she has them all the time.... What are some ways that you know of that can lessen or get rid of them? Thanks
Goose her as hard as you can in her leg. After she stops yelling, ask her about her headache. Explain to her that you made her completely forget about her headache during that duration. If she starts gettin mad, goose her again, and find another girlfriend. I hope that helps.
I could do that Rockhead but usually all they do is give painkillers... I'm trying to find out what home cures people have that they use. I've seen putting a banana on the back of your neck helps....Rubbing the juice of a lime on your forehead... She has already been to the doctor about them
I get them once and a while, and the best solution for me is Excedrin. If that doesnt work, I know doctor prescribed Imitrex works real good.
Well....I know sometimes she doesn't eat much at all....Her grandmother thinks thats why she has them a lot.
OMG! She doesnt eat much and then you come asking us for reasons these headaches keep happening? You can get headaches without feeling hungry. Stuff more food down her and see if they slack off.
Ok man..first off I didn't come to ask why they keep happening. I came to ask what people do. Like any home cures or anything like that. Your post isn't helping too much besides about eating more.
ok, I take it back. My home cure and remidy for headaches is to eat if you arent eating enough. Better?
I'm not here to try to start something with anybody....I just came here and asked a simple question because I am concerned about a friend.
Answers for persistent headaches that bad should be given by a doctor. It could be anything from brain problems to high blood pressure to migraines. I doubt too many of the people on this bbs are qualified to give you a worthwhile answer.
I know where you're coming from DoD. I'm sure no one has a definate answer to my question besides going to the doc.
I'm guessing I'm going to see what the hospital here on base has to give for it.(I'm in the Navy and I'm in Groton, Connecticut right now.) I'll go see what they recommend for it...but if anyone has anything that might do the trick post it...
I agree with rockHEAD. Send her to the doctor. In fact, I have the perfect physician in mind. Her name is Mary Juana and she has a Phd in mellllllooooowness.
