Exactly. Preseason is the time to show what they can do and they won't have too much real PT after that....
I'm bored at work and thought I'd clean the table up. We'll see how many minutes Head gets. You know how rookies typically do with JVG.
ccjj, use view page source and you can get the base code. But I don't really know html so this is the best I can do Code: <!-- message --> <div><div style="margin:20px; margin-top:5px; margin-bottom: 0px; "> <div class="smallfont" style="margin-bottom:2px">Quote:</div> <table cellpadding="6" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="100%"> <tr> <td class="qBox"> <div>Originally Posted by <strong>ccjj</strong></div> <div style="font-style:italic"> <div style="margin:20px; margin-top:5px"> <div class="smallfont" style="margin-bottom:2px">Code:</div> <pre class="alt2" style="margin:0px; padding:6px; border:1px inset; width:640px; height:498px; overflow:auto"><div dir="ltr" style="text-align:left;"><table border="1"> <tr> <th>Pick</th> <th>Player</th> <th>MPG</th> <th>FGM-A</th> <th>FG%</th> <th>3PM-A</th> <th>3P%</th> <th>FTM-A</th> <th>FT%</th> <th>TOT</th> <th>APG</th> <th>SPG</th> <th>TO</th> <th>PF</th> <th>PPG</th></tr> <tr> <td>3</td> <td>Deron Williams </td> <td>20</td> <td>9-15</td> <td>0.60</td> <td>2-5</td> <td>0.40</td> <td>5-6</td> <td>0.8</td> <td>2.5</td> <td>5</td> <td>0</td> <td>3</td> <td>2</td> <td>12.5</td></tr> <tr> <td>4</td> <td>Chris Pau</td> <td>22.5</td> <td>4-11</td> <td>0.36</td> <td>4-6</td> <td>0.67</td> <td>2-2</td> <td>1.0</td> <td>2.5</td> <td>6</td> <td>2.5</td> <td>1.5</td> <td>2.5</td> <td>7</td></tr> <tr> <td>5</td> <td>Raymond Felton</td> <td>20.3</td> <td>11-24</td> <td>0.46</td> <td>5-12</td> <td>0.42</td> <td>3-4</td> <td>0.8</td> <td>2.3</td> <td>2</td> <td>0.67</td> <td>2.33</td> <td>2.7</td> <td>10</td></tr> <tr> <td>21</td> <td>Nate Robison</td> <td>22</td> <td>2-6</td> <td>0.33</td> <td>0-1</td> <td>0.00</td> <td>2-2</td> <td>1.0</td> <td>4</td> <td>3</td> <td>1</td> <td>4</td> <td>2</td> <td>6</td></tr> <tr> <td>22</td> <td>Jerrett Jack</td> <td>22.5</td> <td>3-13</td> <td>0.23</td> <td>2-5</td> <td>0.40</td> <td>6-11</td> <td>0.5</td> <td>3</td> <td>2.5</td> <td>0.5</td> <td>1.5</td> <td>2</td> <td>7</td></tr> <tr> <td>24</td> <td>Luther Head</td> <td>23.3</td> <td>10-25</td> <td>0.40</td> <td>5-12</td> <td>0.42</td> <td>6-7</td> <td>0.9</td> <td>2.3</td> <td>3</td> <td>1</td> <td>2.33</td> <td>1</td> <td>10.3</td></tr></table></div></pre> </div><br /></div> </td> </tr> </table> </div><br /> <br />
Preseason stats help them boosts their confidence in the regular season games. Not only the player but the coach as well. The game last night against the Spurs was not like a preseason game, in the first 2 quarters at least. For Head being able to play in as a starter, that's a big HEADstart.
THANK YOU ARKOE...i gave up looking at the original post...who the hell can read that ...anyways..nice table..
So head is just an average rookie PG comparing to the others. Average apg, average TO, better ppg, less fouls. Not bad for a 24th pick in preseason.
Thank you. That is ---Much--- better. Those stats are near impossible to read without being inside a table.
Head doesn't look like a PG to me. The offense seem to collapse without Skip or Mooch out there. He looks better playing off the ball.
Head's pretty much a pure shooting guard at the moment. With a lot of work, perhaps in a couple of years he'll be ready to man the point. Nevertheless, I do see a scenario in which Head might be used by JVG in a three-guard lineup with T-Mac along with Wesley or Barry in which Head would *technically* be the point guard, but the ballhandling/distributing would be handled by TMac. I can see that lineup working in certain small-ball matchups, but who knows how the rotation will look if Sura comes back.
