so is anyone going to see this fantastically cool movie? I personally believe this will be the best movie all time and while I'm a Nuggets fan, I truly believe that Rockets fans and Nuggets fans alike will enjoy this incredibly unbelievable motion picture. So, am I the only Spidey geek or what?
I'll probably go if I can get tickets. All reviews have been great so far. Could be a bigger hit than the movie about the clones....
When I was six years old my parents threw me a Spiderman themed birthday swimming party (i thought spiders hated water!). There were spiderman floats in the pool...spiderman plates, napkins, table covers...and they gave me my first new bike, a spiderman bike...it was sooo cool. all my friends came...all my family....even my kindgergarten teacher. suffice it to say, i'll see this movie. would like to take my 2 year old son, but i have to wait awhile to do that...when the crowds die down a bit...
I'm sure it will be a decent popcorn flick...check your brains at the door. I'm not in a hurry to see it. I think it is going to smash the box office record(s). I think they were expecting a $60+ million tally for Friday and Saturday. Howard Stern and cast loved it from what he said about it. I think I'll wait on the DVD and go see SW Episode II at the theater instead. My Spidey senses aren't tingling. We all pretty much know the story...and that kind of ruins it for me. If I never heard of Spidey, I might be more interested. However, critic Rex Reed(who should be in a Smit's Gay commercial) never watched Spidey growing up and he didn't like the movie much...if any. Who cares what he thinks, anyway? Last I checked, Rotten Tomatoes had 64 favorable reviews and two negative reviews....not too shabby. Have fun at the movie.....get there early. Surf
